A-day Jan 20th Welcome to 3rd Term!

Today we started Thermochemistry. We started a Student Journal by folding a paper in 4ths and in the upper left hand corner we answered the starter question: What do you know about heat? At the end of class we summarized on the left upper 4th what we learned today about heat.
We did lab 3.1 Specific Heat.
We were assigned 3.1 assignment (answers are on the bottom!)

Honors Chemistry -
Today we started Thermochemistry.
We started a Student Journal by folding a paper in 4ths and in the upper left hand corner we answered the starter question: What do you know about heat? At the end of class we summarized on the left upper 4th what we learned today about heat.
We did lab 3.1 Specific Heat. Make sure to include your graph and a conclusion!
We were assigned 3.1 assignment (answers are on the bottom!)

Beginning 3rd term! Jan 19 A-day
Regular Chemistry -

AP Chemistry-

At the end of class we summarized on the left upper 4th what we learned today about acids and bases.
We started into acids and bases. Mrs. Howell summarized the important stuff and then we started acids and bases power point chapter 13. We didn't make it all the way through.
We did the lab 3.1. Our first titrations. We did them as groups. We had two groups do good titrations for HCl and NaOH and for acetic acid and NaOH. We will share the data with everyone.
Homework for tonight consists of a 3.1 worksheet and Kotz book work on the calendar
Make sure that you keep up!
