Wednesday

Honors and Regular Chemistry - Monday and Tuesday Moles are due!  National Mole Day is Sunday Oct 23rd (10 23) from 6:02 am till 6:02 pm.  We will be celebrating this as a (B-lated) day Monday and Tuesday....don't forget your mole!  It needs to represent a "mole" of an element on the periodic table you can use the name of the element or what it is used in.  (past years examples - Ununhexium a witch mole, Barium an undertaker mole, Helium a balloon mole...be unique!  Best mole will get extra credit!

Next years calendar choices are up on the Davis School distric site.  Go an look at them and put in your comments and vote on the calendar that you like the best.  Have some input on what days you will be in school next year and when the breaks will be!

All classes must pass the Naming Test by Friday, Oct 28th by 3:30 pm!
AP 100%                  Honors 90%                 Regular 80%
If you need some practice go to October 13 & 14 blog entry there are many sites to practice with!

Monday and Tuesday
The Davis School District is proposing three calendar options for the 2012-13 school year.

Each option includes Winter Recess beginning Dec. 22 and returning to school on Jan. 2. The options are now posted online for public viewing at http://www.davis.k12.ut.us/.
Comments are welcomed and residents are encouraged to indicate whether they prefer option 1, 2 or 3
for the traditional calendar. E-mail comments to trad@dsdmail.net.

However, please remember this is not a vote. Comments will be considered by the Board of Education
before it gives final approval to the calendar.

All classes must pass the naming test.
