Lecture: Today we went through the safety agreement, disclosure, what chemistry class should you be in, DHMO.
Labs:Oobleck and 4 white solids. We wrote these up as a lab group and turned them in.
Assigned:
1. Safety Agreement and top of the disclosure is due back next time.
2. Bring one composition notebook next time.
Honors Chemistry-

Hello all!
I hope that you are having a great summer! I am looking forward to meeting you all in August when school starts. To give you a little heads up here is some of the things that you will need for my class.
AP Chemistry -
I am glad you have chosen to take this class!
You have chosen to work to get 8 credits of college credit for class work and another amount (4-6 credits) dependant on your lab notebook and the college that you are attending! This is the most college credit that may be received for one AP class!
You will need at least 4 bound composition notebooks for the year. Now is a good time to start buying these. They usually cost about 50-75 cents right now and if you wait the price goes up to 2-3 dollars! So buy them now!
A TI-84+silver is suggested but a TI-83 will work.
Honors Chemistry -
You will need at least 3 bound composition notebooks for the year. Now is a good time to start buying these. They usually cost about 50-75 cents right now and if you wait the price goes up to 2-3 dollars! So buy them now!

Have a Great Summer!
My granddaughter Mckay is now here! She was born June 1st! She is a sweetheart! She came home a week after being born and spending time in NICU. Things are looking good. I hope you all have a great summer!

We will be doing a recycling activity, and reading newsletters.
Remember to wear long pants and shoes on Tuesday and Wednesday for the glass lab and AP your coal distillation lab! That will be our final day in class!
