Extra Credit Oppotunity (50 points) -
Poetry contest - Write a poem- must be typed and have a cover page with your name and English Teacher and period and Mrs. Howell Chemistry and period on it.
The poem must include 30 "chemistry words" - Example SUN (sulfur uranium nitrogen), PAl (phosphorous, Aluminum), MoUSe (Molybdenum, Uranium, Selenium) .
All Chemistry words in the poem must be bolded and underlined.
All poems must be turned into Mrs. Howell by

Term Project: You need to create a company to produce a new product that you have come up with that uses chemistry. You will need to make a poster to promote your company and this product. You will be doing a 2-3 minute recrruitment and product information blitz in our class. More to come....Due the end of the month! This project no longer uses google docs. Only posters will be accepted. This term project is now an indiviual project.
