May 24 is the field trip to the LEONARDO in Salt Lake! Pay $10 to the office ASAP!!! Bring a sack lunch and meet at the south doors to the school at 10:35 am after 2nd period. DUE ON fRIDAY MAY 18TH!
All Late work is due by May 18th (Friday). Late work will not be accepted after that date.
4.9 Extra Credit Quiz (Good only till May 18)- All Levels- Click here Make sure to print the screen with your score on it and put EC Quiz #4.9and your name on the paper and turn it in!
We now have access to on online chemistry book. There are a lot of ineractive things that you can do to help you with this unit!
(There are a very few of you that if that doesn’t work try again and put a d in front of your user name)
Log in and explore. Open the book. Look at the activities.
Take the Acid Base Test and turn it in before April 27th.

Lab - Day two Model lab Polymer lab next time SHOES REQUIRED!
AP Chemistry -
Set up Labs! Have these labs written up and in your lab notebook to do these days.
1. Due May 18th Ester Lab. Research and write up the procedure step by step to make a minimum of 5 esters. Include the alcohols and acids and the esters names and structural drawings along with an expected out come and a place for actual outcome.
2. Due May 22 Polymer Lab: Research and write up the procedure step by step to make a minimum of 5 polymers along with the amounts and possible outcomes with place for analysis of polymer. Also draw out the polymers made.
3. May 29 Distillation of Coal: Research and write up the procedure step by step to make the glass apparatus to distil coal into a flammable gas. You will start with a piece of glass tubing. Remember to grind the coal before attempting to put it in your glass apparatus that you have made. You will need several bends. Also a suggestion: You will want to put the coal in after you blow your bubble and before you make bends in the glass. Carefull not to make the glass bubble too thin. To pass this lab youwill need to light the gas coming out of your apparatus.
